After submitting the voucher exchange form, please allow up to **4 weeks** for processing. You’ll receive an email notification once your new voucher is added to your account. When can I use my new voucher? You can use your new voucher once it has been **added to your account** and the **new exam version is officially released**. What if my original voucher is about to expire and my exchange hasn’t been completed yet? If your original voucher is **close to expiration** when you submit the exchange form, email us at **certifications@inecerts.com.** As long as the voucher was **active and unused at the time of your request**, your exchange will still be processed. How long do I have to request a voucher exchange? You must submit your exchange request **before the old certification exam is retired** 一 this is typically 6 months after the new version is released. **Exchanges will not be accepted after that point.** Is the exchange required? No, participation in the voucher exchange program is **completely optional**. If you choose to keep your original voucher, be sure to use both your **initial attempt and free retake** (if needed) before the exam is retired. Can I still purchase a voucher for the old exam version? Old version exam vouchers are available **until** the new version **goes on presale**. Once the presale begins, the old version voucher will no longer be available for purchase. How long will I have access to my original voucher and learning content? The previous certification exam and related learning path content will **remain available for 6 months after the new version is released**. You’ll need to use your **original voucher** and access content within this period. Can I exchange a voucher if I already used one attempt? No. Only **completely unused vouchers** are eligible for exchange. If you’ve used any portion of the voucher (including starting the exam), it cannot be swapped. Can I get the new certification if I passed the old one? No. Each certification is tied to a specific exam version. To earn the **new certification**, you must take and pass the **new exam**. Do I need an active INE subscription to participate? No subscription is required to exchange or purchase a voucher, or to take the exam. However, the **updated Learning Path** for the new certification may only be available to certain subscription tiers. How long do I have to take the new exam? You have **180 days** from the date your new voucher is added to your account to take the exam. If you fail your first attempt, your **free retake** must be used within **14 days** of that initial attempt. Why did I get an “Email Not Found” message after submitting the form? This typically means the email you entered in the form **doesn’t match** the one associated with your **original exam voucher**. To resolve this, **email us at certifications@inecerts.com** with the correct email address. We’ll take it from there. Why was I marked “Ineligible” after submitting the form? You may be ineligible if we couldn’t find an **active, unused voucher tied to the email** you submitted. If you think this is a mistake or you used the wrong email, **contact us at certifications@inecerts.com** for assistance. ## Terms and Conditions - *Upon confirmation of eligibility, you agree to exchange your current existing voucher for the updated version.* - *All new vouchers granted through this exchange program will be standard certification vouchers, not “infinity” versions.* - *Your new voucher can be expected in your account in up to 4 weeks after submission of the voucher exchange form, please note vouchers are non-transferable.*   © 2026 INE.
